The other day I found this beastly applique that I'd made in high school and it gave me the idea to take things a few steps further! Okay, maybe a lot more than a few. A few years back I spent 18 months of my life doing applique as a job, so I've had a lot of practice.And it's Grell, from Kuroshitsuji, which is my favorite thing right now! He's made of over 40 individual pieces. Toward the end I was thinking "Why didn't I pick someone with less parts?!" You can see the pre-pillow flat version of him in my scraps.

I can see that you used quite a bit of zig-zag stitches and the different parts involved. I love this idea to turn plushies into pillows.

If there's any particular outfit you might like for a chibi Ciel let me know and I can draw it out for you. I did Ciel in the ballgown today but that might be too complicated for a pillow...
