Sweet! If the two fought, I believe the 2014 Godzilla has the better chances at winning.

A few reasons...
1: 2014 Godzilla survived (with no noticable damage) a point-blank ranged 15 megaton explosion (Castle Bravo, info here but this IS the bomb used en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_B⦠). Shin Gojira was damaged from a Bunker Buster bomb(s) so durability is weak in comparison to Legendary Gojira.
2: Yes, Shin Gojira has those long ranged heat rays that would hurt Legendary Gojira (though with his tough hide, he probably wouldn't die outright but be extremely wounded). However, it sounds like doing this shuts Shin down for several DAYS of recharge. Though hurt, Legendary Gojira would take the chance to close asap and kill his rival. As stated before in #1, Shin wouldn't survive a melee attack.

Sadly not yet (though have seen the scenes of Shin using its laser atomic heat rays). Most of my reasonings stem from reviews and evaluations of this new Gojira.

I like how Shin is leaning down to roar.
