I can also imagine them doing rather well in the bringing the ring to Mordor department. After all they had all that treasure and didn't do much with it, they wouldn't probably care for the One Ring either. XD
Damn, I think LOTR could be greatly improved by an addition of Gentlemen Bastards as protagonists. Actually most stories could be improved by that.
