I'd agree that quite a lot of songs by Miku and Rin are too high-pitched... so sometimes I look for songs sang by Len and Gackopoid. But then some of them are too low-pitched!

It's said that Kaito and Meiko sound like if they're having a flu when they sing!
Gackopoid's voice is a bit hoarse, therefore I think it fits a vocaloid. Still think Miku's voice is the most human-like, though.
