Love how the cloud cover seems black and white but the photo clearly isn't did you photoshop it tha way? If so your photoshop skills put mine to shame, wonderful colors and lighting...

right, to obtain thi result is very easy indeed: put your camera steady on tripod or some wall, then shoot two photo, one overexposed from where you'll take the low lights and another one underexposed from which ya'll take the sky. Marge with Photomatix and no with ps. If you arrange well the tonal map parameters you'll have something similar to the final result.
After pass in ps (i use cs2) and double your layer, overlay at low opacity (20%). Flatten, double again high light fusion, appling filter|other|high pass with a radius around 1, that sharpen your pic without loss of infos. Adjust final result with selective color adjustement layer boosting up white and neutral and darkening blacks. Use also curve, hue/sat, contrast adj, layers. Everything with little strenght, without forcing the parameters... you'll se that is very easy.
