Looks like CG artwork. Is this the real deal? If so, fantastic!!

Thanx u It is an hdr (two photo, same shutter different times, merged) on which i added several filters. The "comic" style is mainly due to a watercolor PSCS2 artistic filter on a copy layer in hard light.

I did really like the work.. but just to be anal about it.. considering your explanation isn't it supposed to be in Photomanipulations tho?

lol... yep let's ANALize this: i am never sure when to put something in photomani. or in photography... it depends, IMHO, on the physical preseance of the objects in the frame: if what you see was there physically when you shot the photo, no matter which or how much filters u use but it's still photography (all the PS FILTERS are only the digital version of what one can do in the camera obscura), on the contrary, change position or insertion or removal of an important object in the frame result in a photomanipulation. Also heavy distorsion and remapping is photomanipulaiton.

Here i only shot two pics, marged togheter, adjusted the dynamics, doubled the layer and used the Hard Light fusion with opportune opacity, added a couple of adjustement layers (selective color and brightness contrast) and that all (well, not so short flow but here it is).

Probably this is boardline with manipulation but i think still photography... what's your opinion 'bout that?
