Another in the (short) series of heroines inspired by the Spider-Man animated series.

To the best of my knowledge, there was Felicia Hardy (who became the Black Cat), Dr. Mariah Crawford (who became Calypso), Mary Jane Watson, and Debra Whitman.

The previous post showcased Mary Jane Watson transforming into Stunner.

Here we have the brilliant Debra Whitman, student at Empire State University and currently dating Flash Thompson. Unfortunately, the Neogenic Recombinator created another creature and they're not too happy about it. And poor Flash, being so closely associated to Debra means he's a bargaining chip for this creature to make her fix the Recombinator and turn him back to normal.

Fortunately, Debra is (a lot) more than she seems. Much like Felicia Hardy, she has taken the Super Solider serum and is able to transform into a muscular dynamo. As a tribute to Captain America, she adopted a Star Spangled super identity...the Free Spirit (who is a very minor character created in 1994).
