Description Out of boredom I decided to do a little sketch based on a short story written by Osamu Tezuka I discovered in volume 3 of Tiger Books.
The story in question is "Goro, of Hacchoike" where we follow the friendship between a fox and a human boy both named Goro. The story is an enviromental story, though this one is a lot more well written compared to most environmental stories.
On the Tezuka Osamu. Net sight of which I found out more about this story it was written,
"The entire work has a fairytale-like mood peculiar to animal works, but this is Tezuka's work. It is a straightforward satire on society, such as irresponsible development projects that disregard the environment and local people who are blinded by money. In addition, due to development and natural disasters, forest animals have been displaced from their homes."

Granted I had to have the entire page translated into English as the post is written in Japanese.
Felt like drawing one of Tezuka's short and more obscure stories.
