Description
Part one of my Zbrush class final. We had to take the 3d spheres tool in Zbrush, and sculpt an entire character out of it.So naturally, I chose a character that wouldn't look good made out 3d spheres, because I'm an idiot.
Alright! So here is The Almighty Tallest from Invader Zim. in Zbrush. xD

Certainly not. Because I can make hard surfaces in Maya, and send it to Zbrush, to add detail! xD = MUCH EASIER! haha. And it looks better.

Still can be difficult that way. The way I do it now is make the low poly meshes, then go and uprez the hell out of them and add all these details, then use xNormal or Maya Transfer Maps to bake the normals down. Or make the high and retopology or remodel the low poly.
Of course there's still zBrush for organics and details I can just stamp on, but dang is it hard to work hard surface stuff!

This actually isn't bad at all. It is clearly the Almighty Tallest. Everything is where it should be and while it looks a little creepy, it's wicked cool. I think you chose a good character and it turned out exceptionally well.

I was looking more at a reference of Red when I made this, but since they both look the same (despite the eyes) it really could be either. xD Though, Red is usally the one with the angry expressions.

Agreed. Red is the more dominant of the Tallest and seemingly the more "leaderly" with Purple being more of a companion with power. When I looked I actually recognized this character as Red despite the lack of color simply because he had the more badass expression. Purple seems more the type to whine while Red seems more the type to kick ass.
