The opacity of the dress is so enticing...just pulled me right in for a close look.πŸ”₯ I couldn't help myself😜 You candles add a nice touch of warmth that backdrop with water, clouds, and the moon...so enchanting.πŸ’–

NICE render. That background looks amazing in this pic & the lighting is perfect.
I'll be honest here, on her clothing, the sheerness caught me off guard a bit because I didn't even pay attention to it until I read your description & the comments.

Thank you so much for your kind comment.Β  The sheerness is what I was going for but I don't like the color or the texture.Β  Looks sorta plastic to me and it's supposed to be lace.Β  Not sure what I did wrong but I'll figure it out eventually.

No problem. That's how it works for me a lot, but if it looks like plastic, did you set the texture to matte? That might help. I have to manually set it sometimes.

Hm, no I didn't do that.Β  I'll check and see if I can find that option. I'm new to DS.Β  Poser has been my rendering software since 2003.Β  Thank you for the tip!

No problem. I'll be glad to help any way that I can. Look under the surface tab with the clothing selected. On some clothing there's an option to make it look like plastic, metal. matte, etc. I have also found that some clothing & props don't have that setting.

I was a Poser 11 Pro user up until about 6 months ago or so & I've been with Poser since Poser 2. I find that Daz Studio has some better options fro me. Mainly I got sick of the Poser clothing room not working the way I'd like, but I have discovered that with some cloning products Poser clothing for the 3rd & 4th generation can work great in Studio. I've managed to get some properly working on the G8 characters.

I'm learning a lot myself & there are some really GREAT people here on dA willing to help.

Yes, I know that a lot of great people are willing to help.Β  I've received a lot of help from them and thanks for your offer.Β
Me too since Poser 2! Daz Studio for a year now.Β  I think I'm doing really good with Iray. I'm just new to Dforce and that's where the surface options differ.

Gotcha. I've been shying away from the DForce products. I love the dynamic clothing in Poser, but there's still so much to learn on the other setting of DS that by the time I figure them out, I'll be having to bum info off everybody else on this DForce business. LOL

Glad to see another Poser to Studio user here.

wow......this is very cool!
I like the whole scene, myself!
The background?? is that an HDRI or a background plane?
Anyways....I like it!

Thank you Tim!
I was going for drama in this scene and was too lazy to create all the details, so this particular background was created by Moonchild-ljilja and it's a plane. HDRI was used for the lighting as well.

Glad you like it!

Anytime....
I know you like making the kink stuff, and you are good at it....
but you do have the eye for the artsy stuff, and do it well. lol. Wish I had that lol.
That plane turn out well......
I wonder.....Making that plane into a low level light emitter. I've done that for like tv, computer monitors, etc. But not a back ground plane like that. Something I will have to look into.
Anyways.....
Yes, I do like and you do it well.......

Yep there are two sides to my creative personality which is why I have the two separate galleries.Β
Kink is easy, artsy takes thought.

You have a creative mind and it show......on both personality!
But, I guess personally, I prefer the latter....
Everybody has there preferences!
