Heh I just started DMing a Microlite20 campaign in a custom world I had fortunately in the back of my mind for a webcomic XD First time DMing, first time Playing, I had done some Warhammer 40k and watched videos and picked up stuff on my time in the net SO I'm not very experienced. Apparently my players enjoyed the experience though. Thank god for this easy system

Any handy websites/tips/videos? I'm enjoying Spoony's Counter Monkey series now

Gee, I wish I had some good advice, but I admit I'm still pretty n00b-ish when it comes to playing and DMing.
Although I'd like to give you a big ol' WELCOME TO THE RANKS!!!!
I've only DMed one Microlite20 (and I chose this system for its ease of use and modification as well ) session for both my brothers, but my older bro has been running various systems for me and my sibs for a few years or so and I've found that even if you feel you might've done a poor job in running something, often the players find at least SOME enjoyment in it.

I haven't been following any specific blogs or websites myself (yet) but if you're ever interested in checking out 4E D&D (admittedly not my favorite system) the folks of Penny Arcade and PVP have some excellent podcasts and videos of some of their experiences with the game, which actually helped me to get an understanding of the system. [link]
And there's still time to submit a one-page dungeon for the 2013 contest if you're interested. [link]
(I kinda forgot I was supposed to help my brother throw one together--whoopsie! I'll go work on that...)

And thank YOU for sharing Spoony's Counter Monkey series--it looks like I'll have to check that one out!

Oh, and I found it interesting how Chris Perkins draws up maps on the wet-erase battlemats, since my brother recently got one...but we generally don't go in for much tactical combat with minis, heh, my brother and I like battles to be resolved somewhat quickly and messily. (With improvised Molotov cocktails and whatever other goodies our ingenious characters can think of.) [link]

Anyway...I wish you luck and fun with your roleplaying!!

wtf does subterfuge mean?

Subterfuge: Deceptive trick.
In this system it's basically what the rogue gets to use when making a roll to find or disarm a trap. (To find a trap you add Subterfuge + DEX + MIND. To disarm a trap you'd use Subterfuge + DEX.)

...You know, it is actually quite amazing how playing various RPGs can help expand a person's vocabulary.
I'm just listening to one of the Podcasts run by Chris Perkins for Scott Kurtz & Jerry Holkins & Mike Krahulik [link] and the word "Sepulcher" was used and I had to look it up.
