This is a beautiful piece of art, I love that *beloa is so willing for other people to use the idea to get it out.. I think venting is very helpful, and venting through art is even more powerful. I love the contrast between colors here, its very simple but so well done and very powerful. If you ever want to talk, I'll be here. I haven't had too much of a problem with it, but my friends always like venting to me so you're welcome to note me any time.

I need to check out everyday if no one said something negative about this because I'm anxious about everything. I don't think venting like this was a good idea anymore, but I still let it online because I want to stand behind all I said.

Ah, I do love drawing gifts for people. It sometimes feels bad when they never draw or give you anything back, but... I try to accept that feeling and let it go. But... they don't usually ask me to draw for them. I usually draw for them because I want to. Nowadays, when strangers/acquaintances ask, I charge them cash!
I also hate fake friends and "frienemies" (friends that are also enemies). I don't have the energy or time to deal with those types of people.

You're absolutely right about this. People should stand up for themselves if they think they are being abused by others just for art, and without giving anything in return. For true fans, friends or family, it's okay to ask for pictures once in a while. But it should never go too far.

It's a great idea, I say. I never suffered from this problem on dA, but on real life...
I'm waiting for the opportunity to cut ties with a girl that it's seriously ruining my mental health. She finally entered on her adolescence, it seems, but it's making everyone else go crazy.
She gets stressed easily, for very small things, and doesn't apologize. Never. She hates when we correct her, and basically likes to spend time with a girl now over then us because this naive girl thinks that she's perfect.
She has lots of problems, but hates to talk about it. It's fine, but instead she just discount on us. But, oh, no, we have no right to be mad at her because we're her friends and we "have to understand" that it's how she is.
And yet, she does it all she hates us to on her, on us.
I can't take it anymore. I want to cut ties next time she freaks out, but a part of me is afraid to find out that she never considered me as a friend of her. Because, in the end, I don't feel like part of the group. And I am afraid to end up alone.
Sorry to tell this all, but... I need to unburden this. I may do some art about the issue, too.

Don't feel sorry, I understand that you need to talk about it. Well I've never been a pro about relationships with others.. It's really hard to cut the ties with people like this.. because most of the time you don't immediatly realize that there's nothing wrong with you, that's them who have a problem. When I have something like that I'm always thinking about it at night, before sleeping, and I tell myself "next time they treat me that way, I'll tell them how I really feel". But finally I don't do anything.. Plus I hate to argue with people, I have a weak personnality. (.. but what I'm saying doesn't help you at all ^^')
By "I don't feel like a part of the group" do you mean that you were mostly friend with this girl and then you met the other friends because of her? (if that makes sense) and you're afraid they'll take her side and not yours?

I was friends with this girl before I meet my best friend, Fernanda. When I'm in the group, I feel my only connection there is her.
Problem is, even that this girl have a phase of ignoring us (it's like: in the begging of the year and in the end, she doesn't let us even breathe, then she pretends we don't exist, because we aren't "popular"), she is EXTREMELY possessive of Fernanda. To the point she thinks the girl is her property. To the point she doesn't let her have other friends, and is even angry when I talk to her privately.
I'm afraid that if I cut ties, I will never be able to even talk to her again, because she won't let me do it.
But this is something that I can't solve. It's up to her to take a side.
But I think Fernanda summarized the issue really well:
"She's ashamed to be with us. Because we're the 'losers' and she takes it very seriously (while we just don't give a fuck).
She wants to be popular so badly, to hang out with the important girls. Yet, she hate the popular people, and doesn't know what to do. And who suffers from this, is us."

No, I know what you should do: do something. anything. Or in a few years you'll think about it again and you'll think "Why did I let this -insert f word here (or not)- girl ruin my life? gthhsgkjgsdhljkajhgf" and you won't be able to sleep and during the whole night you'll tell yourself all the thing you should've told her. (or maybe that's just the kind of thing that happens to me all the time)

One of my friends had a friend like that. She stayed with my friend, but when someone more interesting arrived in her life, she abandonded my friend. In some way she took my friend when I needed her the most, and now that I think about it I would really not be the same person if I've had a real friend at this time of my life.
But, honestly, I don't know what you should do

I could instantly see the inspiration from her work- from that particular piece as well! You did a great job of portraying it in your style! And once again, I love the theme. I saw it in her own piece and fell in love with her portrayel; the same goes for your piece!

I love this idea, I had the same issue, and have finally started being able to say no. I hate it especially when people ask me to make them things that they know I don't usually make ><' But the stresses of trying to do things I simply don't know how to do, as well as those that I don't have time to do, or not even get paid to do...make me see I need to say no.
I really love this drawing, it's got a lot of detail and carries across the concept really well. I'd love to see a news article advertising the concept and featuring the artworks from people like this

Thank you! The worse when they ask you to do something that you don't usually make is that you know you will disappoint them anyway.. So I'm like, always procrastinating.
Well if you have some spare time sometime you can do a stamp if you want! But don't feel forced, that would be very paradoxal compared to what this project points out.
