Here was another 09' piece. Still experimenting with the water colors. I rememeber that at some point with this on I thought I had messed up with the shadows... since I didnt get the effect I wanted. But later after I came back from being all mad, It looked fine...watercolor works in weird ways.Freakin' love avatar btw. Toph is the best char. hands down.

Nice! Sweet pose and really cool coulouring. Looks like you shaded with pencil and went right over top of it with Digital colour. Hope you do the rest of the Gang.

gracias chulin! pss para este dibujo use un nib pen, con microns y eso. Pero rwesciente mente e estado usando un pincel, (winser newton series 7 #2 brush) i know its a lot..lol you should try it!

I used to paint with inks and I would have less trouble than watercolors.

thanks! you sound like you gave up on it lol. It can be very unforgiving at times. But like everything ealse...practice makes perfect... no where near there yet though lol

Awesometastic work with the watercolors, Enrique! That is one hard medium to work with, but you pulled it off without a hitch.
I really like the slight hints of green/blue in the skin shadows. The colors themselves are bright, but still harmonious with each other (you really know how to color brightly without being oversaturated and hard on the eyes).
And yes, Toph is quite the cool character!
