Biography:
Ipswitch's pupils, these rock types met through their mentor, and they've fallen quickly in love. While River was born and raised in Raccolto, Sage came from the Sevii Islands. The two seem to compliment one another: River tends to be a bit fussy and anxious, but is overwhelmingly compassionate, while Sage is exceptionally radiant and charismatic, but lacks empathy.

As young adults running from different pasts, Ipswitch was more than happy to take them in. River assists Ipswitch with the more labor intensive aspects of ranching and is highly interested in clerical work. Sage, meanwhile, helps Ipswitch with her apothecary and has a special interest in foraging and brewing. Through their time together, Ipswitch has come to regard them as her surrogate children. She projects an air of distance, while subtly offering her motherly wisdom and her very home as their sanctuary. Though she may play coy about it, the Clefable loves them like family.
