Description The Albert Pike Memorial Statue.

Albert Pike is the most reveared of all Free Masons. He was the Scottish Rite's Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Southern Jurisdiction of the United States, which is the "Mother Council of the World." He was also the "the chief founder" of the Ku Klux Klan.

In his left hand hand he holds his famed, "Morals and Dogma of Freemasonry."

Pike's statue is the only statue of a Confederate Civil War officer in the city.

Below him sits the Goddess of Wisdom, Minerva, the Roman name for Athena. She is Holding the Standard of the Scottish Rite, the Double headed Eagle of Lagash.
