thank u!! i tried really hard on the shading since its just a bunch of individual dots. its like that art style i cant think of but the painters use the other side of their brush and just make a painting out of tiny little dots

I think the style your thinking of is called stippling.
It's basically like what you've done in this piece, except it's usually done completely in dots.
