I had do something Kannazuki no Miko-related (in stores now!), but if you know me, you know I royally STINK at drawing things regarding teh fluff♥fluff as well as TEH ANGST, so instead of the uuuusual Chikane×Himeko fanart, here's one for the show's "villains". ^_^

…so, who are they?

• Tsubasa-sama (lime hair); sorta!leader, he enjoys smoking and charging straight at people with sharp, pointy objects (ah the perks of being in charge) ^~
• Miyako (purple hair); sorta!second-in-command, a lying/cheating/stealing cerebral assassin who still has time to be a nun (in questionable attire.. O.o)
(And I dunno what creeps me out more, the fact that she's voiced by Hana-chan in the original or by Radical Edward in the dub. O_o)
• Girochi (chains); sorta!dumb oaf, but quite the gentleman deep down (XD) he's also got an interesting theory about women's attitudes based on their bust size..
• Corona (microphone); sorta!pop star, sadly though she doesn't get to do much (namely SING STUFF); it must suuuck being a pop star in a show that doesn't have a musical theme (there be no chance for redemption).
• Reiko-sensei (reading); FULL BLOWN manga-ka (and my personal hero ); a lifetime of art and trying to meet deadlines has left her quiiiite bitter (XD)
But even *after* giving in to despair, she's STILL working on manga (ain't stoppin' her, oh no ....that's why she's my hero) ^_^
• Nekoko (oh, GUESS); sorta!parody nurse catgirl, she enjoys candy, cute fuzzy things, and killing people (nya~!) X3
• Souma; Tsubasa's kid brother, he's not reeeally a villain but I just included him to balance out the picture ^~;

(Collectively, they're known as The Orochi, which you all probably know, from watching other shows, refers to a menacing 8-headed serpent. Hmm, but there are only 7 of them......)

On a side artist's note, this is the first time I've ever tried that 'collage spread' that you see in countless promotional art pieces where sizes are varied up to create an interesting whole; this is an especially good time for me to start since I'm trying to inch my way into a career of entertainment design and I need to brush up on creating really eye-catching compositions from here on out.

I'd say, from beginning to end, this took........ 80+ hours to create. Okay, okay …have I mentioned yet that I have an UNHEALTHY OBSESSION with minor and/or obscure characters? @_____@;;;
