Overall you haven't done a bad job on the shading. Yellow is a hard colour to master and you've had a good attempt. However the animation could do with some work.
The emote currently doesn't loop properly allowing you to clearly see where the animation starts and ends. You fail to keep sending in new dots on the left so when it gets to the 4th frame the emote suddenly jerks back and looks really really unnatural. The dots also seem to move at random rates. Sometimes they move 3 pixels and sometimes they move 2. If you sorted this all out it would look far better
