On the authority of Abo Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him):

People said To prophet Muhammad peace be upon him: O messenger of ALLAH, Make a prayer against the polytheists!

The prophet said: I hadn't been sent to say curses, i had sent as a Mercy.
