one time an acquaintance of mine in Portland, Oregon gave me a fried and dried chicken skin snack to try as they were disappointed with the cost of the snack and the flavor. they had bought it at some kind of street food shop. i agreed it was a disappointing flavor; salty and with chickenness; and I was like, "why is there not rosemary on it? rosemary is growing everywhere around here!"
this photo is of multiple, large rosemary bushes that are drooping, dripping, draping over a rock wall along the sidewalk and next to a fence. easy pickings! rosemary is being cultivated everywhere I go in this state especially in urban and residential areas. and yet, some cooks have not added it to their recipes... alas...
