it's a comedy adventure set in a dieselpunk setting inspired by Europe between the two world wars, the story is about a bunch of fugitives from a penal regiment trying to steal a giant airship to escape from a city besieged by mysterious invaders from another dimension.

Not really very similar, it's inspired by the interwar period rather than XIXth century. Have you ever seen the movie "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"? It's pretty much the definition of dieselpunk. I recommend this movie, at the very least it's very stylish even if the plot is not super amazing.

As I told you before: I absolutely love it and all the little details, from the flying cars to the Polish WWII hat. For me, the best part is how the gnome uncannily resembles Tyrion in a silly hat
