The world has asked multiple times, "Scooby-Doo, where are you?"

My answer? The road to anywhere and everywhere in the world!

As a Kingdom Hearts World, I'd say the 'world' revolves around wherever the Mystery Machine, or the group who uses the van, Mystery Inc., is located.

For this world, the plot may be fun to enjoy during...drumroll please...the Mainline Kingdom Hearts games!

For Kingdom Hearts (2002/Final Mix), the plot will be an original story, introducing Sora (as well as Kairi, Donald, and Goofy) to Fred, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Scooby, while the Keybearer and his friends had JUST escaped Hollow Bastion, just when Ansem's plans have just come to fruition, revealing the last Keyhole while strengthening the Heartless, which for Mystery Inc., means their world's near-destruction! Their world suffers the same fate as Destiny Islands, with a mass of darkness forming in the sky, giving Sora a second chance at saving a world near-death from the same darkness that almost destroyed his home world! Teaming up with Scooby (World Exclusive Party Member) and Mystery Inc., the group head over to where the Heartless are coming from, an empty, spooky, and green-glowing old mansion called "Dastardly Mansion, deserted by a cruel and villainous owner, unseen in the premises for years, yet his dark heart left the mansion stained with his evil, enough for the Heartless to invade and in time, possess, giving Sora and his old and new friends a foe within and outside, in the form of a Horror-House-themed Heartless! Defeating the Heartless, Sora manages swiftly to seal the Keyhole, located near a spooky tree occupied by several bats, and save Mystery Inc.'s world! After saying his goodbyes and sharing a snack with Scooby, and earning a kiss from Velma (to Kairi's chagrin), Sora, Kairi, Donald and Goofy, continue onwards to Leon to tell him about the growing Darkness seeping from Hollow Bastion's Keyhole...all the while spied on by a mysterious figure and his small scruffy sidekick who had taken a liking towards the Keyblade...

Kingdom Hearts II/Final Mix will feature the world again, except with 2 Visits, and one classic story for each visit!

For the First Visit, Sora meets Velma, who is more than happy to see her old crush again, while taking him, Donald, and Goofy to meet with Shaggy and Scooby. Sora noticed at this point that Mystery Inc. was seemingly separated, leaving Velma to explain that the team has disbanded a year or two ago, while they each lived their own lives and careers. Yet Shaggy was happy to see Velma and Sora again at least. Along with them Sora was even more happy to see Fred, brotherly as usual, and Daphne, who sadly became somewhat distant and rather spoiled, running her own television show she called "Coast to Coast". This visit will be heavily based on "Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island", except with themes of reunion and friendship being brought up and restoring what Mystery Inc. used to have, courtesy of our favorite Keybearing knucklehead, Sora, who teams up with Shaggy this time around as a Party Member. Together, they learn the secrets of Moonscar Island while fighting off or outrunning several of the horrific Zombies and (SPOILER ALERT) TRUE villains of the 1st Visit Story, the Cat Creatures who drain the lifeforces of their visiting victims while turning them into Zombies, courtesy of Maleficent, who was (for KH Canon at least) the reason they had the accused power. Sora, Donald, and Goofy may have to fight the villains, Simone, Lena, and Jacques, without Shaggy, while he worked on saving his friends. Fortunately, I can see Sora running their time up to the end, when they turn to dust. After that mess is taken care of, Sora leaves the world while bidding his friends goodbye, ending with Velma confessing to Shaggy she has a cute little crush on this 'Older Sora'...

The Second Visit will be based on "Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost", when Sora finds the Coast to Coast series bombing big time while Daphne was just losing it, until Sora offered his help for the next episode. For a few scenes in the story, I can see at least Goofy talking sense into Daphne, saying that ratings aren't as important as her friends, but that's just me. Velma for this plot will probably try and confess her feelings to Sora while sometimes feeling a little something special for the new client, Benjamin Ravencroft, who hired Mystery Inc. to help him find the treasure of his ancestor, Sarah Ravencroft, who was accused as a witch by the villagers years ago. Ben flirts with Velma while Sora starts to notice Velma's feelings for him, making him flattered while trying to explain to her he still cares for Kairi. He tells her at a crucial time just when Ben asks for the team's help in digging up the treasure. But when the treasure was revealed to be Sarah's SPELLBOOK(?!), Benjamin's personality takes a 180 as his true scheme is revealed, showing that the man lied about his ancestor, who was indeed an evil witch, which in turn makes him, the heir to his ancestor's legacy, A WARLOCK! The treacherous Ben resurrects the ghost of Sarah, only for her to betray him and begin preparations to conjure up the very same darkness that almost devoured their world, but under HER control! At this point, Sora and Velma talk, making Velma understand that even though he is loyal to Kairi, he's still unsure of the concept of love, but he tells Velma that he was happy to be loved by someone like Velma, who he had nothing but great respect for. Sora and Velma work together against Sarah, while Velma kicks Ben's ass and uses a spell in the spell book to banish Sarah's evil soul, Sora fought the witch in a battle of sorcery and power (AKA: KH2-Style Boss Battle). Sarah and Ben are defeated and end up ablaze, lost forever, while Sora and Mystery Inc.'s new friends they met earlier, the Hex Girls, kick off their celebration and Sora's last day with the team with a band concert, giving Sora and Velma time to dance and say a special goodbye between one another...

The recent entry, Kingdom Hearts III, gives Sora a chance to return to the world, taking place after he and Aqua wake Ventus up, which may have an original story to tell, featuring Dick Dastardly and Muttly from the Hannah Barbera cartoon, Wacky Races, as the main antagonists. In this story, Sora reunites with the now-rekindled Mystery Inc., who was being visited by Scooby's nephew, Scrappy, and Velma's sister, Madelyn, both of whom were big fans of Scooby and Velma's adventures with Mystery Inc. For this world visit, I can see Sora teaming up with Kairi, who may find out that Velma may in fact STILL be a rival for Sora's affection, to Sora's surprise. Party Members for this visit could be Scooby AND Scrappy, who could make for some unique teamwork moments against the Heartless. Also, if they weren't used in the previous visits, mysteries in the discovery of Dick Dastardly and a few other story plot devices would be a fun venture to explore. Kairi herself may be fun to see with her own playable segments with Velma and Shaggy, just to hint at Kairi's DLC-exclusive abilities and gameplay. Dick Dastardly could even team up with Pete for this plot, and make the adventure rather entertaining by making Sora and/or Kairi venture though Dick's aircraft, while ending the story with a Race-inspired Boss Battle with Dick Dastardly and Pete, who should have been fought in KH3, yet never was. So yeah, a boss fight with Pete and Dick would be fun, especially if Dick makes his own Keyblades. I honestly think it would be fun if AFTER the fight, Dick would become a recurring antagonist alongside Pete and Maleficent. Near the end, I can see the usual handshakes and friendships rekindled, while Velma stands her ground, and gives Sora his first kiss, wishing Sora good luck while telling Kairi she won't stop fighting for others, including Sora either. Lastly, Madelyn X Shaggy or Velma X Shaggy? Who knows?

And THAT is how the Scooby-Doo world could be featured.
