this was such a pain in the ass D:

i've noticed that i hadn't drawn niklure (yes! i found a name for him!) yet, so i decided to give it a shot. (:
his markings are so fucking difficultasnkdjan

but i feel like i'm really improving! when i look at it lineless, it actually looks like how it's supposed to, instead of a blob of colours like before. (:

i'm so glad i'm finished! i think i spent the most time on this picture! i don't time myself, but i think it took around 5ish (i know, i'm slow when it comes to art xD)

while i drew this, i began to untumble his personality and past.
he and his sister, nakeshi, were nik-naks(duhhh). nakeshi was a prized mount, for her anatomy for her species was near-perfect, and her temperament was sublime. however, niklure's temperament was so aggressive that he couldn't be ridden.
niklure had always adored stories of the wild nik-naks, and wanted to run away. after many years of persuading nakeshi, they both escaped.

i'm still deciding what will happen next, but i think i'll let them meet the ancestors of nik-naks. nik would fall in love with one of them, and learn their ways, but something would happen to her and she would die(this part is still very vague)

so, to this day, nik refuses to speak to anyone but his sister. he's too angry at the world for letting his love die, and only trusts his sister.

meanwhile, nak is a very friendly gal who always feels that nik's pain is her fault, and will do whatever it takes to make him feel better.
