it seems that at one point in their travels, Switchback and Katazuun crossed paths. Katazuun probably stuck with the strange blue tiger thinking, "wow, this cat can talk," before realizing "wow, this cat can talk."trade with the super special awesome !!!!

BUT OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS CAME OUT. It's been my desktop background, like, ever since you finished. I cannot even get enough of it oh my god.
Okay so first of all DAT BACKGROUND. How did you come up with a DESERT??? That's so NEAT!!! And you did so so so WELL with it??? Oh my lord yes yes. I REALLY love those pooft fun cumulus clouds and the bright blue sky omg blue yasssss and it goes SO WELL with those expertly-painted and perfectly-atmospheric-ally-perspective-ly purple mountains. My GOODNESS. AND I LOVE THOSE TILTED ROCK THINGIES. OMG. OMGGGG all the DETAIL in them. I really like them are things like that actually in deserts?? Also the green little shrubbies. Oh my god I love them. This kind of desert you drew is BOMB. I want to visit one!!
AND THAT CACTUS LOL. It's so DETAILED!!! Did you do that thing where you detail the crap out of something and it looks amazing and then you promptly blur it?? I do that a whole lot <__<. IT STILL LOOKS SO GOOD THOUGH. The real hero is that cactus. YOU DA REAL MVP

BUT ANYWAY YES OH MY GOD THE *CHARACTERS*. Christmas Cat friend I'm so sorry you got stuck with that idiot blue child. Your creative mother is cruel <_____<. I really appreciate how you muted his colors in the bright sun like that. It makes them both look so *realistic* omg. I REALLY love the way you did Katazuun's fun arm glowies. And his shiny nails omg. I want to lick them and sharpen my pencils with them. I also REALLY like his fun tufty long ears and THE WORLD'S MOST ANNOYED FACE. And oh god his shiny hair. And fluffy fluff. Hot DAMN are you good at art. Why am I even here???? *throws up arms*
AND SWITCHBACK. OMG YOU DID HER RAMBLING *PERFECTLY*. It's absolutely and utterly perfect. Like the little interjections and the incredibly stupid way she gets from Point A to Point W ugh it is PERFECT. And her pose is so obnoxious omg LOOK AT HER FOOT AHHHAHAHA. And omg her perfect amber orbs for eyes. I love them. I love it when people notice that I'm slowly moving her eye color from yellow to amber-y orange <__<. YOU ALSO GOT HER FACE BITS PERFECTLY???? Even though they're not even remotely in her 40-year-old refsheet!! AHHH you're observant and perfect. Plus that dramatically bright desert sun lighting on her white chest fuzzies is *DIVINE*. Uuuugh. ANd I LOVE HER LONG WHISKERS. I always like the give her really long long whiskers like real tigers, but again that's not even *REMOTELY* on her refsheet ahahaha BUT YOU DID IT AND IT LOOKS AMAZING. And her leg fuzzies are amazing and omg the lighting on her black legs. DIVINE. AHHHH.
Omg I am so in love with this picture. I think I want to restart mine just because it's, like, a fraction this good. Omg you are perfect and three quarters. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TRADE OMFG.

okay first, YES A DESERT. I kinda like deserts a lot. xD WHY YES those tilty rocks are really in deserts!!! 
that cactus is the most popular thing i've drawn i swear. it is the real hero here, the true protagonist of every story. it probably has its own backstory and everything but its so cool and mysterious that none of us know it.

it was more that I could see how incredibly much detail was there - it keeps the picture sort of "teaser-ish", so I wouldn't worry about that.
