So i am super charged with this piece I have been stuck trying to come up with something. I am very happy with the end result. I am battling my buddy and we are Line artist aka Pencilers. We love it. it is the bread and butter of the comic world. i am very happy to battle him because I knew this is what our battle would come down too his pencils versus my pencils.Related content

pencil kings in this round!!! both pieces are amazing...you guys are holding up the meaning of the word battle on this.....rolling out 4 character pieces in a week!?!?!
Love how clean your pencils are....actually my fave on this is storm....just the tiny detailing in her outfit steals it for me. But impressive at the hatching time in making wolverine appropriately furry.
Stuff like this really makes this group amazing.
Digital is cool.....really great tool, but any old school comic fan is a sucker for the fine art of pencils. Total joy to see.

Yeah Storms detailing was awesome, thast what i love about straight line work...the detail sometimes is waaay better than when colored.
You really did a killer job on these X-Men...takes me back to the good old days of being excited when the next issues were coming out.

yea those were the good ole days. i love the group man I never had to think so hard to try to win. I mean you have a group that makes you realize its not just the skill you wield but the creativity of the piece. I will agree sometimes the lines are better than the finished colors. But I was happy to face selkirk cuz i knew it would be a battle of pencils and you just gotta respect the pencils, lol

glad you're embracing stuff here. If artists find a new level of creativity and meet good people to push them and exchange tips with then its a total success.
Anytime you push your own evolution in anything its a great thing. Everyone can learn something from another artist, even if that thing is just seeing ideas on a concept from a different angle.
The talent thats found its way on here is just mind blowing, and its great to hear everyone's finding something in it.
I've quoted this phrase a bunch on the group but really the quote from David Mack really sums up how this group should ideally flow: 'because your train of thought is not confined to the tracks.'
whats been amazing for me as a fan on this group is just to see the grit and imagination of people, and its inspirational to everyday life.
