It's beautiful!!!! I've been trying to take pictures like this. I have a couple of so-so ones, but I can't get it right.....

Taking photos of fireworks is not that complicated. It just takes a lot of luck or knowledge, what firework-effect wil come next.
There are two secrets to it as I see it: first you need a tripod and a cable release and secondly you will have to expose the photo for quite some time. I usually use 25 to 45 seconds (low iso, high depth of field). The rest is luck...
When I shoot fireworks 1 out of twenty shots comes out good enough. So donΒ΄t be frustrated, practise...

Thanks a lot! The photo was exposed for about 40 sec. Afterwards I processed the shot with tonal contrast to enhance the colors, nik dfine to reduce the noise and nik sharpener.
