Este dibujo es algo diferente en el acabado pues por alguna razón tenía entre mis hojas de papel una hoja de Canson Montval (papel de acuarela) y decidí experimentar en ella, la superficie es muy rugosa y no permite trabajar muchos detalles, por lo mismo es más importante trabajar en luces, sombras y contraste.

So last year my mom died and I had to move to my father's house to take care of him. Around december I had neither a space nor ideas to draw and as I was walking I saw these weeds growing in the middle of concrete and thought to myself: you are not always going to be in the best place nor have the best conditions, anyway you have to grow up and do your thing. Rigth now I have a drafting table and a 6.5x6.5 ft space in the living room where I'm drawing this series, they are somehow a message to myself about growth and overcome.
