Description
Out with her friends one night Penny Proud is accidently bitten by a radioactive spider due to an incident caused by the Gross Sisters.

Penny over the course of the next few days slowly discovers that she has spider like abilities.

Penny's life is changed one day when she chooses not to stop a mugger because she is going to be late for a concert. Penny is then heartbroken to find that the same mugger murder her grandfather.

Changed from the experience Penny decides to use her new abilities to help and protect others and take up the mantle as Spider-Penne.
