really cool kinda eminds me of the METRO games it has a russian feel to it the helicopter also has a russian look to it either that or it reminds of the chechen wars with the destroyed city,which Chechnya might as well be post apocalyptic at this point lol

Bro, might I recommend stalker series? A lot of guys from 4a games (the devs of metro) were from GSC Game world, the guys that made the Stalker trilogy. It has the same creepy, postapocaliptic and irradiated atmosphere but is kind of free-roam.

Cool. I will recommend further and advise that you play the games in chronological rather than "release date" order, although in that way you might find Shadow of Chernobyl dissapointing graphically speaking, although it was in my opinion a breakthrough in 2004-2007. The Chronological Order is: 1. Clear Sky (second game released), 2. Shadow of Chernobyl (first game), 3. Call of pripyat (third and last, unfortunately).
Also, please head over to Moddb, they have the mods for those games to make the games more... uh, "enjoyable".
