Very very nice! The render has fabulous "atmosphere"
Was this done in Terragen or ??? I ask because I just d/l'ed the free version of Terragen and hope to get up to speed with it to create landscapes.

Thank you! No everything has been rendered in Vue. I've thought of using Terragen for the atmosphere since it generates SO much more realistic clouds etc. than Vue. But, how to do it I don't know, everything has to fit >.<.

But personally, I started with Terragen as my very first Landscape-software but I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, it's very complicated (again, personal experience).

But go to their forum, hey have lots of tutorials, materials and informations.

Thank you very much for your insights on terragen. I will definitely look into Vue as well, since I am a novice at all of this. My only experience so far has been making terrain files for OpenSim using USGS data with some additional tweaking in Photoshop.
