I'm old enough to remember when Disney's TRON was the latest word in digital environments, and when the kinds of computer work-stations need to crank out those simple environments looked like this:

And now look at the cinema quality work Our Host has produced, with a fully-rendered three-sixty no less, and all I need to enjoy it is a desktop that weighs about eight pounds and a three-foot flatscreen monitor that would've been considered Star Trek tech in the 1980s.
Simply astounding.

They couldn’t do interactive on-screen modelling back then--at least, not much beyond simple geometric shapes. For something complex like a human or animal figure, it had to be moulded or carved out of something like wood or clay, then thinly sliced and painstakingly hand-digitized, slice by slice.

Oh, yeah.
This stuff has come so far in so short a time, it's head-spinning.

I thought that the still shot was great, but the panorama is even better. I really like the detail and the overall feel of the environment.
