At this point, it's pretty much admitted that aliens are/were real. They probably entered this dimension when the blood moon occurred; what was that, is still unknown.

The reason why not many people deny it is the aspect of the valley of Belazur. After the city was annihilated by the Spyrants, all that was left was monoliths of various sizes. They've established a primitive people like Spyrants, who never built a single city, wouldn't have the means or will to build such huge structures. Plus they're made out of a mix of various matters, some of which unknown; that mix is however close to some meteors which are believed to have crashed during the terror age.

The results were that the valley was abandoned. The country at large was mostly deserted. It was regarded as a cursed place for most of history. the result is that there's not much to see in Spyria besides these odd ruins. But about 75 km north there's a mountain, and at the top of the mountain a large metallic door which glows as the sun sets; they call it "Belazur's eye". They say it's the door to the underground city that was built by survivors of this once great empire.
