I got a friend with two piggies who swim in her kiddie pool with her three year old sister. It is so cute, I have two piggies myself.

No no i'm sorry, I seemed to have gotten a lot of people telling me i'm cruel for even bathing them. They're monitorered when in the bath and they're feet can always touch the ground, and guinea pigs can actually swim ! but they are watchyed closely. It's like the lil rumour going around you should never get your bunny or guinea pigs head wet, but you can ! and if they have fleas you have to ! so long as they're thoroughly dried before putting them back into the cage they'll be perfectly fine.

Actually the bath water was fine, thank you for your concern, they could still walk comfortable or lay down as you see Adonis doing without fear of drowning.

You Really shouldent Get there heads wet. That makes them more likely to get sick.

Actually it doesn't, because as soon as they're done their bath they're put in a blanket, and dried off, I know what's good for my guinea pigs, and I would never do something to put them in harms way.
I've had 'em for years, bred 'em raised 'em and am licensed to do so, so I do need to know about my animals. Thank you for your concern though.

When they get stinky they need a bath ! and they're only up to chin level, so they run around but get a fair amount of water to soak into them, piggies are the best !

I can't even have my girlies in that much water! I have them in water that reaches above their feet, and touches their bellies, and they still complain! I should show them this picture!! And the 'baby' can't have a bath on her own, she goes mad and tries to jump out, and if I had her mom in with her, she still gets a tiny bit scared at times and freaks her out too, and they both start jumping and splashing. Latte hates being on her own, without her Coffee & Cream, can't live without her mom - despite her being old enough to look after herself!! Maybe it's cos we keep treating her like a baby.
Yup, they can jump very high!! Always suprises you when they do it!!

Oh if Adonis was on his own in the bath he would jump clear out of the tub and onto me, I was surprised to see how well they jump ! You can own squirrels ? It's illegal here.

Haha, lil Adonia the life raft ! she's certainly big enough ! It was so weird to see how teeny her head is and how enormous her flanks are, she's quite the lil pig.
