My half of an art trade withHe wanted something with his sibling OC's, Mina and Reno, dressed up as a mage and a warrior.
Find the Easter eggs to activate their powers ^^
Mina casts Mini...
Reno casts Undead....
Halloween isn't really Halloween if brothers and sisters aren't trying to prank or scare each other *nods*

And I now insist that if there is ever fighting game made with Sanone's Characters... Zombie Reno has to be one of the unlockable ones. Because that's just awesome. He could do ranged attacks by throwing his head at them!
And I don't think I even need to go into how cool the 'Mini' easter egg is. ^____^

Nothing wrong with that. I've thought about doing a picture in flash, and then adding easter eggs, but not letting anyone know it's flash... Just hiding something in there to see if they check it or not.

I've actually been playing with flash animation the last couple of days... I really would like to animate again- I haven't in a while, since I was in school, and after seeing your works, and a couple of web cartoons, I've found new determination to try again.
The only problem I'm having is trying to figure out how to deal with symbols. For instance- I make a drawing of Takai, then convert it to a symbol so that I can scale it. But then, say I want to move her arms in one frame... So then, I have to break apart the symbol, make the changes... And then it's not the same symbol anymore.
I don't even know what the real question is behind all this... I guess what I really would like to ask is- How do you set up your characters? Do you put all their different pieces on different layers, or do you make them into separate symbols, or do you even use symbols at all?

Hmmm... let's see...
Well, symbols are usually used for things that are going to have a repetitive animation cycle. I always use a movie clip symbol for a characters eyes, especially if they're going to be blinking.
For simple movements, I put different character pieces on different layers... Like arms or heads.
So basically, you'll need a mix of symbols and layered pieces... I hope that helps ^^

Thank you so much for your advice! I've just been playing with scale a lot (for obvious reasons ^_^); and it always seems to want it all to be in a symbol then. Its pretty fun... but handling drawing in there is a bitter pill. >_<

Oh, yes. Forgot to mention...
If you do scale changes with you character, it's usually best too make them a symbol first. That way you can add special effects to make them look all blurry as the grow or shrink.
