I had that poster!!! I think it has just a hint of Travis Charest in it which is cool because a like his art too. I had thought you were inspired by Masumane Shirow (Or however you spell it.)

Ok, first off, I love how innocent the face looks. I'm digging how fluid the pose is (I gotta talk shop with you sometime about that btw) but overall... I'm amazed at the design and technical execution of the other elements in the piece, fromt eh shoes/feet, to the machine she's sitting on, the the extra details therein. Nice job Richard! I must give you the clap now

I was trying to make up a new Wild Cats character. Somewhere between Warblade and Voodoo...with a little Wetworks or something thrown in. The outfit design and the way I attempted to detail it was inspired by Travis Charest and all the great costumes he was coming up with at the time.

The guy is so great.

Oh I know man! Charest is someone I look up to for his style and technique. His 'new' strip Space Girl... amazing. Not to mention his normal sequentials, covers are astounding and above all... well, he's just beyond amazing! I like your idea btw, of a hybrid between voodoo and warblade. Hopefully a female version And Wetworks, that was a very cool title to read. Charest is really a visionary, that's for sure. Reminds me a little bit of Syd Mead. Just has that feel to his work a little bit.
