Do you mean lineart? Well, like for everything- to do it perfectly you need a lot practices

It is really good!! Well done!! However, I still don't think that texture looks realistic... It isn't possible how one element is at the same time on both sleeves and on shirt when he's standing in this position. I'm not sure how to express it, but maybe you understand what I mean. Even though I still appreciate step with textures, it helps a lot, just should be managed a little

I know, that it's not realistic, but still better than when is totally flat. Maybe someone can use this filter to make more realistic effect.

I don't think so :3 I just got SAI today and every tip helps! I love the pattern and the steps taken to put them onto the fabric It helps a lot, thank you again! I'll have to explore and play around with your tips on the program~

6night-walking9 In reply to SilverSoulArtist [2013-06-26 08:19:45 +0000 UTC]

SAI is very comfortable to painting; I did one pic in photoshop and I said 'never again!' I don't know how people use them to draw and sometimes did really amazing works!D: for me it's good only to adds effects.
Yeah, I love this step too I didn't use pattern before, because I hate when they look flat, but finally I found way to give their look more natural

Awwwww, I didn't knew you use a pencil sketch as sketch for your digital drawings too~~
So this is really amazing~~ We can all learn from you~~
Oh and one question ... Why does everybody do all those basic colours first before shading, than drawing every single part on basic and shading before doing the next part~?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

6night-walking9 In reply to ra-vi [2013-06-26 08:10:47 +0000 UTC]

Few times I made digital sketch, but for my eyes health I don't spend even much time on computer (and pen or pencil skeches I can did of coures outside home, like on boring lectures for example xD)

Uhh, I tried explain it with my poor english...
With drawing it's like with analog photografy procesing- you begining with vague picture, but for some time later shades and lights geting more and more clear. It's also easier to plan where they should be when you look on whole picture, nor just some part. Some times I also use the same color for light or shanding for few base colors.
This way is quicer and give you more control over your drawing.

Shouldn't you listen while lectures~~? Haha, I wished I could do this while lessons~~

So okay, I see~~ I never tried this method, but maybe I will to see if it's better~~

This is coloring, not drawing.

not only, I wrote how I draw lineart. Anyway, coloring is part of drawing too.

Etsoree In reply to 6night-walking9 [2013-06-25 20:51:36 +0000 UTC]

You need to learn how to draw before you can "properly" color. This shows almost nothing about actual step-by-step drawing.

I take pen and draw, what more to say??; I never learn it in some special way.
I don't get what you want:/

I think Etsoree want's a step by step of how you made the line art Albeit I'm perfectly happy with either, and I'm saving this for future reference (if you don't mind )

6night-walking9 In reply to SquishyIsBack [2013-06-26 06:18:08 +0000 UTC]

hehe, but here is really nothing more to say than I use airbrush and draw lineart (like I wrote in 'tutorial'); but I'm happy that You like it^^
