Potter’s opalescent, glowing shape is inches away. His ghost form is much brighter and more solid than I’ve ever seen him, no matter how many times I said his name at the time. Pale, shiny tendons of something, perhaps energy or ectoplasm, unfold around his head like an aura. It’s hard to tell where the messy hair ends and those fine threads begin.“Take my hand,” he says and stretches his arm out at chest level, his palm up.
