Description In Australia, a family who just had their baby boy, Danny, are out camping in the outback for vacation. One night, as Danny is asleep, He is kidnaped by a dingo carrying it as a meal, but accidently drops him on a hill far away into the outback where he cried for help. The next morning, the parents discover that Danny is gone, and soon, they were horrified. They conducted the search for him, but unfortunately, the search is called off, as he is nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, out in the outback, Danny is still crying out in the open for the predators waiting to strike him. A mother Kangaroo who just recently lost her joey, finds the abandoned baby, and adopts him. She, along with the other animals talk, but the humans don’t understand. She puts Danny on the pouch, and calls him Joey, after his lost child.

Years later, Joey gets trained to how to hop, and to walk like a kangaroo. Joey grows fur all over his body, and evolves kangaroo traits as he is taken care by a kangaroo mother. 9 years after being adopted by a kangaroo, Joey looks completely different than a regular human: He talks, but he has fur all over his body, he has grown a tail, evolved characteristics of a Kangaroo, developed a pouch, and grew longer ears. One day, a group of explorers went on the outback for a safari. They see Joey, and they are stunned to see that it looks different than a Kangaroo: It could actually talk, and have some human traits. The kangaroo mother sees Joey being tranquilized and being put on a jeep to the laboratory, and she follows the jeep to the laboratory.

Meanwhile, Joey’s real parents are still traumatized on losing their baby, and the mother decides that she will go by herself and manage to find her son once and for all. Joey wakes up to be held in a Lab where scientists are studying on this odd kangaroo. They discover that it is actually a human who is raised by a Kangaroo. The mother kangaroo sneaks in to the lab to break Joey free. They escape from the lab, and they return to the outback. News about the odd kangaroo spread all over Australia, and Joey’s real mother takes a closer look on the kangaroo, and she realized it was her lost son, Danny. So she ventures forth to the Outback to find Danny.

Meanwhile, back at the outback, the mother kangaroo teaches Joey a lesson that he should never get near to man, anywhere on the outback. Soon, Joey starts to think on his life: Should he remain with mother kangaroo, or reunite with his biological parents? Joey’s real mother reaches the outback, and begins the search for her lost son. Joey is about to go to sleep, but suddenly the dingoes ambush him, and he cries for help. The mother kangaroo rushes to fight the dingoes from hurting her son, and she successfully saves him.

Joey’s real mother sees him, and takes a big look onto him, she realized that he is Danny, and she rejoices that she found him after 9 years of being disappeared. Joey explained to her mother about his life as a wild kangaroo, and she was fascinated by that he lived as a kangaroo.

His mother gave him a question, ether go home with her, or stay with the mother kangaroo. Joey decides that he wants to stay with the mother kangaroo, as he has a happier life than the human world. And she was fine about his decision. So she waves goodbye to Joey, and drives off, and Joey and his kangaroo mother all go back to their normal lives.

Um, it 's interesting to be sure, but don't female kangaroos have pouches?

I'm pretty sure males don't have them!

So then Joey is a hermaphilodite?

So this would make him like Otis the cow from the Barnyard Movie/TV series, and Barry the bee from Bee Movie?

(I checked - only female bees have stingers! )

I'm sorry - I've had science classes, so I notice things like that!

So if Joey's a herm, then........um...........can......he......reproduce all by himself?

I'm sorry - I'm only asking in the interest of science!

I'm sorry.

I guess the whole (being male and female at the same time) thing makes me feel uneasy!

Don't get me wrong - I'm sure this will be a good movie.
