* I can see that you already knew this. Only thing that  makes the drawing confusing from perspective wise whether *Catwoman* is looking up at the camera or just looking into the camera.

Sorry about my bad camera and typos. The above sentence was my way of clarifying and fixing my bad grammar.

Out of the 3 Cat Woman didn't come out well.Conceptually I like where you were going. Its just her proportions are off. And when your proportions are off the rest of the figure work and anatomy suffers.

I like the color pallet you used.Especially the work you put in her hair.

Sorry if I come off as being critical of your work. I consider you a friend as well as a colleague and fellow artist. I know how good you are.But I also know that you are capable of much better. I do not have your skills as a digital colorist. And I can't draw cars and guns as well as you can to save my life lol. But I am quite knowledgeable when it comes  to figure work. I may not be the best. But I'll offer advice and suggest things when I feel its warranted.

If you feel I'm out of line let me know.

It would be easier to show you than to tell you but I'll try ^_^.

*When it comes to drawing from different angles especially from a higher camera angle you need to keep in mind these 3 well.. 4 things.

1. Foreshortening:: The body part closer to the camera angle is going to look bigger but it will taper as it gets further from the point of view.

* I can see that you already knew this. Only thing is that makes the drawing confusing from perspective standpoint is whether camera is looking up at the camera or just looking into the camera.

2. Perspective:: Where  does your point of view begin ( the focus of the eye line).

* I see what your plan was. I think you were going for a more extreme in your face composition. Along with skewed body proportions. Sort of like how you would see someone from lensed peep hole from your front door. This kinda camera angle is very tough to pull off.And most artists use reference photos for this type of work. Because if your proportions and anatomy are off the drawing just doesn't come out well.

3.Proportions and Anatomy:: These have to be on point in order for the whole drawing to give off the illusion of the human figure in space. Or in your case give off the illusion of making it seem like Catwoman is looking up at you into the camera.

*The most glaring flaws begins with her head and the way it sits above her torso. The human neck actually is tilted forward. So your chin from an above camera angle would  be covering the upper chest to the middle of the sternum( that bone in the middle of your chest that your ribs are attached to). Her head she be moved a little bit forward to wear it looks like her chin is resting on the middle of her chest or just above the top of  her goggles.

* Next is her arms are a bit too small and you didn't taper them to get thinner towards her hands. To give the illusion that her arms go further away from the viewers eye or point of view. The arms just look like they are going straight down. But I can tell you wanted  Catwoman to give the illusion that her arms are going back behind her holding a whip just behind her ass.

* The head and the arms in terms of proportions and anatomy just throw everything off in my opinion. The torso to me seems a little bit off but that's me nitpicking. When I look at the piece as a whole all I see is Head, Torso, and little arms.

The concept and idea was good. You just had a couple of glaring execution flaws when it came to pulling off the effect or illusion you wanted. I give you props though. I rarely try to pull off full illustration work where I have to use extreme foreshortening or camera angles. Any time I do drawings like this is in a sketchbook. I can do ok.I have my good and bad days. Its just figure work like this requires finesse, knowledge, skill, experience, and good photo references to pull off lol. I tend to be a bit anal when it comes to making my drawings look good as whole. If I see that something is off and it ruins what my initial concept was I just toss it and start all over. I either ask someone what they think or I hold up the drawing in front of a mirror.

Any  real bad anatomy, proportions, and overall visual flaws will be more noticeable if you look at your art through a mirror. I hope this helps. Sorry I took so long to reply. I had to figure out how I was going to explain and this.I wanted to give you a proper response and not a half assed one.
