Reno is my favorite character in canon FFVII. He's smart, cunning and artful. And quite cruel too, but it's mostly a nesessary evil. On the other hand, he always care about his turk mates saving Elena kind even if its their own fault.
In FFVII advent children? Pfff. They spoiled EVERYTHING because there's a GRAND CANYON SIZED difference between badass who play a fool and a dumb fool.
I imagine him being a biiiiig liar, enjoying to confuse every living being with his weird friendly manner. It's like you know he's full of shit, but you hardly can understand is he playing with you or actually saying the truth. He talk a lot, but say you nothing. He's quite good at understanding other people too, can easily get your way of thoughts and predict some of your actions and probably get your trust. And you believe him although you certainly KNOW this guy is somewhat slimy.
He plays a huge role in my ff. As Tseng ordered him to watch upon captured Yazoo, these two spent a lot of time in the same flat. At first he hated Yazoo for everything this dickhead did in the past. If not the orders, Reno would cut remnant into pieces and burn somewhere in a pile of tires. Yazoo seemed being goddamn BORING too, even with all these cinic and acid answers. Geting into this guy's head was almost impossible as Yazoo has a fucking mental stronghold around him and pretty good at making even more walls when someone tries to break in. It's like holding a weird curious-looking box and not knowing what's inside. It was a challenge.
At the end it's difficult to predict, if Reno actually care about Yazoo or just want badass silent killer as a part of turks. But I guess, both.
As for freckles, it's kinda my favorite fan fact. I mean he's redhead after all XD
