Diablo and Jim Raynor are fighting violentely. Raynor is more and more injured and lacks of ammo. Diablo takes advantage of the situation and jump towards Jim to finish him... until Kerrigan arrives.My entry for this challenge, hope you will like it

Third in this competition was pretty good minus the fisheye, but first looks like art for a generic cell phone game and second looks like a hi-def Super Smash Bros youtube video.
I have some favored styles, but I try to judge art objectively. I can't say objectively you "should've" won the contest because I don't know their judging criteria, but I can say you've won on technical merit, cohesion, and style.
Yours is the only entry I've seen which closely emulates Blizzard's own style. If we were talking Blizzard, pre-Activision merger? I think they'd have hired you.

Was really looking forward for your piece in the semi finals. Disappointed it didn't make it. I'm not saying the semi finalists didn't deserve it, but it's generic, it's expected. Most of them are messy too. (too much going on, too many Heroes, no focus points yada yada) I feel like yours have a story in it. There's tension in it. Β You don't throw tons of characters in just for show, I appreciate that. And the colours, yours is one of the few who I saw in the entry that didn't opt to the, 'washed out sandy feely battleground cliche' (not the best description, I tried) But who am I to judge amirite? I'm just a girl with an opinion :>
But, in my heart, you are the winner sir. (CHEESY I KNOW BUT HEY)

Thank you so much for giving your opinion, it is really encouraging ! I am a bit disappointed too but that's the game I guess.. First I had this idea of a giant battleground in the desert too but I thought it would be like every others so even if I didn't win, I am happy to have chosen this second idea. And with your support, it shows me that I wasn't wrong.
But for sure I will not give up !

Diablo v Kerrigan... no question, really. After all, Diablo's been killed three times in three different games, while Kerrigan just keeps on getting changed. The only thing that I would change is have Kerrigan closer, so that we can see her face. Otherwise, awesome pic.

Nope, only painting and an awful drawn sketch as a starting point xD But I think you can use 3D model as it is written in the rules : "The completed entry (βWorkβ) may originate in any visual medium excluding cosplay, photographs, or moving images".
