i addet small parts of green and blue to make composition more alive .

Pourquoi ai-je l'impression que les personnes que tu représentes paraissent souvent blessées, pleurant le sang et, de toute façon, masquées? Now go to google translation or...give it a rest!

another way to present people would feel shallow .

What does mean "shallow" in plastic art? Anyway, the human face is a wall. You can interpret it as you want, you'll never be sure to reach the Truth! ( my own opinion)

human face as a wall , that´s just what i mean in their likeness to masks .
and shallow really doesn´t mean a thing - that´s why i think them as abstracts , not as people who are crying blood .
these pictures can be seen just as they are , as compositions of color and form - then there´s no need to make connection to
anything morbid .
But you can interpret them as you like .

pour lui faciliter la vie je vais lui traduire moi-même.

Markus, she's asking : "why do i have the impression that the persons you represent seem often to be wounded, crying blood and somehow hidden (by a mask)? "

you can answer in english, Clairobsur16 will go to google translate or i can always translate for her
enfin, si c'est ok avec toi, clairobscur16 ?

Who are you, PartiallyHere? ( and who are you, she sternly spoke, to the one beneath the smoke...=  Leonard Cohen's Joan of Arc...)
I don't need Google translation to read the Shakespeare language...Mais ja préfère le français car c'est MA langue.

if you think paintings are morbid you don´t understand my symbolism - i say they can be seen as composions of line and color , but since they
are abstractions , they can be interpretated as writing too , of course . if there´s blood ( and who says red must be blood ? ) and tears ,
they don´t signify death , but life - it´s the mask you see that´s the unliving thing .
this is actually very simple and i´m suprised if you don´t see it without explaining , but interpretations are in the eye of beholder .
( i think you would have needet help of google translate if i had answered only in finnish )

Be sure that i'll never use Google translation, neither for english translation, nor finnish one!
My reply to PartiallyHere wasn't for you! I forgot that I was on YOUR page! i admit that the word "morbide" isn't the right one.
I know the symbolism, but I don't understand why all your works with the human face as support lead you ( perhaps rather the watchers?) to a feeling of sadness, absence, pain, emptiness, and sometimes death. I can't read clearly your symbols. i can't guess who you are behind your painting. I can't find out live behind the mask.  Isn't the aim of the Symbolism to let a clear message? The one i get from your art is really dark. I suppose that you'll think that I'm stupid, my brain sclerosed, my sensibility absent. What kind of symbol have I missed in "La mort rouge"?
I must apologize. I shall not come back to this subject. It's evident that your creation is yours, and I havn't any right on it!
( Happily, I'm glad, every morning, to find again the portrait " of the monk" on the wall of my studio .) I stop before becoming crazy about the English language: I should be destined to be shot down...

i think my reply was incomplete so i interwened - like real conversation trails from person to another and can involve more than two
people . i understand this kind of pictures can be easily seen as morbid and they are open to interpretation of each watcher ,
you asked earlier what i mean with them , and i answered .
and what comes to feelings of sadness , pain , absence and sometimes death that pictures evoke , my first reply was complete :
i find other way to present people shallow - in plastic arts that means meaningless , like pictures in advertisement .
so if i see even potentially good things throught negation , that´s my way of seeing

you´re welcome and continue Michele , i find this conversation entertaining .

lol ... i was still trying to find a way to carry that copied and pasted text to google translate .
i succeedet carrying it to normal google search and that gave varying results of articles from A.C. Clarces book - god ,
universe and everything to arabic wikipedia article of Shakespeare to syrian newsletters .
that seemed quite complicated for a way of translation .

yep , i was doing a world tour throught everything that was ever written in arabic and put in internet .
i quess i should have opened another small screen - is that called tab ? - for google translate and then
carry the text there . i quess , but don´t know since i haven´t done that before .

partiallyHere In reply to 7markus7 [2014-07-26 22:10:12 +0000 UTC]

there are easier ways to do that than carrying the text. just do right-click and copy the text, then go there, right-click and paste it

( Markus, don't you think that the arabian characters are very esthetic but totally indecipherable?)
