thanks . it was bit of a struggle to make this hold together . Brushing the green watercolor all over gave it coherence .
i used red parts to give it direction .
the scraps are from numerous different resources - no wonder it was on the edge of being dissipated .
the eye there is from one of the sketches i made for your potrait .

i brushed ink over the pencil sketch i made from your photo - ink was done without looking the photo - and maybe photo didn´t present your eye
as it is in first place , but in a certain sense it´s your eye .
you probably see the story going on in the picture ? There´s maiden burning at the stake ( Jean d´Arc - it´s from illustration presenting her story )
then there´s knight and some obstacles and monsters the knight must overcome before reaching the maiden .
Among the monsters is a penquin diving in the chilling polar waters and the bedbug ( there´s some finnish text too , but that´s not very important
for the picture ´ there´s millions of tiny bedbugs crawling on the sheets ´ says the small text , large one is just one word ´waste ´ )
since the maiden is Jean it makes sense to think that the knight is Gilles de Rais , the Blue beard - i don´t know if you´re familiar
with the real story beoynd Bluebeards ´ legend - he was a nobleman and knight that stood by Jeans ´ side in the war - her right
hand man so to speak . It was only later , after the war and long after Jeans´ death when he gained his reputation as a monster ,
before that he was seen as a hero .
