Sooo.....
I've done this one yesterday while I played RPG with my friends (as so often...^^).
I absolutely adore this guy!
When I started it, I thought "Oh, a half naked barbarian with weapons, and dreadlocks...that pic will suck...because I'm not good at drawing half naked men, dreads or weapons neither...."
But I love it! It turned out so great!
Of course the wonderful stock picture helped a lot!

About the character:
He is a so called 'Durro-Dûn', a 'beast warrior', of an archaic culture called 'Gjalsker'.
These warriors receive the gifts of specific animal spirits, which grants them special powers. ( In rules it is a weak sort of magic.)

In their youth those warriors create a deep connection to the specific spirit that chooses them. This bond can only be broken up through the dead of the warrior.

As you can see, his clothing is not affected by great finesse. His folk just wears simple shoes and a kilt, from which colors and stripes another Gjalsker can read from which tribe they are. In the winter, they wear a simple cape.
This special kind of warrior often wears the fur of their spirit animal around their shoulders, but I decided not to cover this body with a cape made out of fur. *g*

The tattoo is typical for his culture. Every child receives one.
After the birth of a child a snake, which bites itself in the tail, is tattooed around their belly buttons. From this snakes spread four branches.
If I remember right, the left arm is saved for family related relationships like lifemates and children.
The right arm is saved for pictures which symbolize heroic deeds.
I did not remember where to put the symbol of the spirit he follows, but I think the right breast is a good place for the wolf paw.

Some of his dreads are dyed white.
