I've wanted to do something with She Freak for ages and I was quite pleased with how this came out after messing around with poses and lighting all day.Hope you like it!

Fabulous!!!! The first thing that comes to my mind when I look at this is Joan of Arc. She looks like a fated heroine or something with the light sparkling off her axe and her fierce expression. What a brilliant image! So good!

When I added the sunburst effect to her axe I had a similar Joan of Arc impression, like her weapon was being struck with divine power or blessed in some way, rather than just being struck by sunlight. Glad you thought so too!

Excellent. I love the gloomy sky, her pose and expression. I would suggest playing a bit more with the dragon's surface bump settings just to give it a bit more texture.

Many thanks for the comment! Funnily enough I have only just finished reading up on how to improve renders by adjusting the bump settings, its a side of 3D art I have neglected so far. I'm very tempted to re-render half of my gallery to see what difference it makes, haha.

Outstanding render. She looks so intensely Brutal. Really dig her leather and mail armor and the detail on her dual-axes is fairly Bad-Ass. (Laughs) Thanks for posting a Female Character that doesn't instantly make me think funny, funny thoughts. I was starting to feel like I needed to get out more...

How did you achieve the blood effect on the dragon? It looks like you modified the texture?

The blood effect is actually a shader which adds a transparent blood layer to the existing texture.

I love the depth, detail and clarity of this image. For my taste, I think the starburst effect on the axe is not really needed, but in any case, this is superb.

Many thanks for the comment! I dont often add illumination effects to my images but for once I decided a starburst and its rays worked nicely to fill what otherwise felt like too much empty sky. I probably wont do it again anytime soon, haha.

In my opinion the torso is a bit too little and the left arm is way too muscular, but I guess it's right that what you need for killing a dragon x)

The right arm is just as bad although the perspective stops you seeing that. I went with the base shape of the She Freak model, so thats how she looks unmodified. I guess its a fantasy thing, you can defy the laws of anatomy without concern, haha. Thanks for the comment!
