Description
This lovely young lady is Nikki, the main protagonist of Jūkenshi II: The New Generation. Though she doesn't look like it, she is actually Antonio’s little sister/"Clone-Sibling" (more on that later).

Though she is the protagonist of Jyukenshi II, we first meet her in Jūkenshi where she is younger and plays a largely supportive role. She's in her early 20s in Jūkenshi II as everyone aged a little.

It is after Nikki's debut in the original Jūkenshi that we learn more about the Dragon Men and her and Antonio’s connection to them. Since her creation is closely tied to the Dragon Men legend, her new main protag role in Jūkenshi II expands on the lore of the Dragon Men.

Nikki is an American of (primarily) Vietnamese descent and hails from Sacramento, California. Cali is home to many Americans of Vietnamese descent. I wanted to give the Vietnamese some attention since there aren't many Vietnamese characters in fiction. For her design I decided to highlight her Hoa--that is, Chinese and Vietnamese--heritages. What she's wearing is a combination of an Ao Dai and fantasy Hanfu design.

Nikki inherited Mizuki's original Iaido style. The sword Nikki uses is based off the famous Zatoichi's sword. But she also uses a few of her brother's unarmed moves such as the Enryūken, or, "Flame Dragon Fist", Antonio’s signature Move.

Since Nikki has such a large role to play, more of her story will be added as time goes on so check back if interested.

Short Bio: Sweet yet reserved, intelligent yet flighty, talkative yet quiet and very eccentric represent the duality that is Nikki Oliviera.

She is the Seijyūkenshi of Draco and the younger sister of Seijūkenshi of Qinglong, Antonio Holman . Nikki is extremely loyal to Antonio and is never far from his side. Nikki was by Antonio's side when he was climbing the ladder in the Celestia Foundation. It was her devotion and prowess as a Shinobi that helped Antonio achieve his goal of becoming Commander. For his part, Antonio is forever grateful to Nikki, affectionate even, and accepts her as one of his closest friends and best allies.

Part of the reason Nikki is so loyal to Antonio is that he is among the only family she has left. Her mother, a Vietnamese widower named An Nhiên, passed away to terminal illness. Before she died, An Nhiên admitted to Nikki that she had adopted her and that she was not her biological mother. An Nhiên told to go to North Carolina and find her brother, Antonio. Nikki was both floored and confused. After all, An Nhiên raised her as a single mother and never mentioned any siblings until then. But, with nothing for her in California, Nikki used the little money her mother left her to go to North Carolina. and learn more.

Little did Nikki know that her journey would reveal secrets about her roots that would rock her to her core...
