The silence I bared alone
To mistakes deemed to atone
My world beyond this window
Its hollow spaces it bestow
A glimpse of what I seek
The changes granted by a peek
Till you walked by the door
Gave me reason soar once more
Freed me from this dissonance
Bathed in sunset resonance
My world beyond this window
The glass shatters below
Escape me from these walls
Run through these battered halls
A moment lost in your eyes
A promise there won't be any lies
My world beyond this window
The sea of lights falls so low
May the stars in the sky hold us
the golden velvet to guide us
The dance of lights in the sky
I held my hands up high
drawing you a star-woven map
So you'll find your way back
To my arms with a sigh
In our canvas in the sky

Hello dear 7THHeaven!
I will first tell you how your poem made me feel and then I will tell you about the light I see in your character.
First of all, I almost made a beat to fit the poem. I guess that being said, it was written good enough to cause music to fill my mind which flows with the words. Such a wonderful ending, "In our canvas in the sky," indeed my friend the short few words alone create peace in a persons heart. It's a poem of enlightenment, while reading it, you can feel just how peace can be found that in this world, there is always love for you.
The poem writes a more clear story to the character you've presented here. This picture illustrates the wonder to be found in simplicity. What I see is the heart of your character, superficially he is enjoying a nice waffle and a hot beverage whilst enjoying his novel. In his heart, he does not need more than what is before him because he is filled with love. The scene plays this simple peacefulness out, I am sure only part of his concentration is in that book. Your poem is your rendition of his thoughts, indeed a mind and heart filled with love, is there a greater peace to be found?
