I've been practicing with making logos and I thought I'd share this one with you guys!This was another idea that spawned from a dream I had a few nights ago. But it really only focused on me buying comics and finding variant covers to Worlds Unite I've never seen before. I'm thinking of doing a comic cover series sometime in the future, I only have one sketched right now. I really want to get back into making comics and to get better at designing covers. Like with Collide and Unite, I imagine there will be a total of twelve covers with maybe a few variants in between. But for that to work, I need to actually piece a story together so the pictures make sense.
As much as I would love to make an official comic series to go with the covers, I simply don't have the time and need to focus on other things in the mean time. Maybe one day, that is if I can improve my story-telling. Another thing I'm debating is whether this will lead up to being a pairing story or not.
To stick with canon and get more people interested, (and maybe to prove that I can write a story of friendship and nothing more) chances are I'll go with the second option. Two friends hopping dimensions to stop an enemy like old times. Though one thing I will change, assuming this is their third team-up and facing hardships greater than the last two comic installments, their friendship will be a lot closer. They'll have to fight to prove to themselves just how strong that bond is.
Like string. Coming unraveled. Oooooh.
But again. That's for another time.
Anyway I hope you all like this, I took some reference to the Collide and Unite logos to create this and tried to make it look authentic ^_^ I'm quite proud of how it turned out.

Well I can understand where you got the idea from but you have your reason on what you're saying. But so far it's more like listening the Gamma or the original version of Planetary Annihilation Ost:

The one of many problems in this story, if you do the comic story, would be probably going off topic because I know where to start with the reasons but it is something I can't explain. Look I can understand what you're trying to do and everything but I'm gonna back away from this conservation because if you want to create that story then I guess that's your own opinion. There are many ways I can try to explain it but I think for now I'll come back to this conservation when I think you, or me have the time to talk. And I don't know what to say after this.

I can understand on what you're talking about. You want to find a place of safety, somewhere where peace can last for as long as you like, and try to understand on what I'm saying. Your mind can't think this through because the only thing you see from my comments are just confusion. I do like the tone this cover potentially sets for its story. Unlike with Collide and Unite, "Unravel" is to suggest that something could occur to either Sonic or Mega Man that really hurts them. Along with their facial expressions, you almost feel as if both are somewhat depressed, which associates well with an entirely "blue" background.
A shame this isn't actually a thing (at least for the moment). I've drawn a lot of inspiration from your work for a while now, and it would be so awesome to read a story you create.
And I can relate to imagining a story overnight and wanting to write it down (that's happened to me twice since joining DeviantArt).Β

Why thank you ^_^ I'm glad you got that impression from the logo since I wanted this to be a bit of a tragedy. I really hope one day I'll find the time to sit down and work on the story. I find that I often don't get the chance to share my stories despite how many I've made for different series. But definitely something I want to consider doing

I'd imagine telling a story through a comic has it's own set of challenges. It would be very important to have a complete grasp of your story once you start, since it's nearly impossible to change your mind once you start drawing. Plus the physical demand of drawing every panel. Though an excellent medium to tell a story, I can imagine it is very overwhelming especially for one person. I'm here for you, if you ever feel like somehow I could help (doubt it though).
Yeah, the Spyro and Coco story I'm working on materialized overnight, along with a Spyro x Crash ship idea I have in my back pocket in case I get around to it.
