A fun pic I wanted to make about Okiku Naru Ko, a Japanese children's puppet show .

So a bit of a history lesson on this series (I'll try to make it brief lol): Do you remember the surprised monkey meme from a couple of years ago? This show is its origin (rather, the most popular adaptation of this show). Okiku Naru Ko began in the late 1950s with its first season, "Korosuke-kun". Each season featured a different cast of characters and settings, but follows the same plot, which is to teach young schoolchildren about lessons in social skills (how to be kind, share with others, be honest, respect your elders, etc.). The most well-known season is called "Tora no Daisuke" (Daisuke the Tiger), which aired in the mid 80s. Unlike all other seasons, this is the only one that saw air-time outside of Japan, airing in Latin America as "Ninos en Crecimiento" in the early 90s. But also unlike the others, it's the only season thats episodes are available online. The series is classified as "lost media", as no remaining footage exists of the others. Not even images have resurfaced for some seasons, and one season from 1969 doesn't even have a known title. Here's a Wikipedia article (in Japanese) with all the seasons listed.

I drew the ones that have at least have an image provided (so there's a lot I didn't put in). Also keep in mind that the images are in rather poor quality, so the characters may not look 100% accurate.
