Those who were on my last livestream at a certain point will probably know where the inspiration for this piece came from :b
Though obviously it's not completely the same... I was even going to colour it normally but I thought using a smaller colour palette would look much better; also much better for usage as a desktop BG as the colours wouldn't be so distracting.

Anyway, I had a ton of fun drawing this... maybe it was the music I was listening to, but seriously, it's been a while since I've had so much fun working on a picture xD
I had the idea for this picture for a while now, but I didn't start on it until about 1 AM on Monday
I've really got to stop staying up so late, I need to wake up at about 6:30 every morning for school ''lD

The characters look friekin amazing and the simple colour pallet just brings out even more of the detail, im speechless!

I have to say, if you had such inspiration I don't know why you wouldn't link the piece... it's common curtesy, especially since the resemblance is so striking.
Your interpretation is still quite nice, though! In fact it is so nice I think a deviation from the other artist's style would have even benefitted the picture because it would have bolstered the effect you were going for and made it stand out a lot more on it's own... but hey, that's me. It's still visually quite appealing, and a refreshing stylization of some ΓΌber lovable characters. uwu
